Manage your password tags

Intuitive Password offers a convenient feature that allows users to add tags to password items, enabling better organization of passwords. Tags serve as descriptive labels or keywords that can be associated with password items to categorize and group them based on specific criteria. By using tags, users can easily classify and locate password items with similar attributes or purposes.

Adding and editing tags

Please note that the number of tags you can add per password item depends on your subscription plan. In the Basic edition, you can add up to 3 tags per password item, while the premium editions allow you to add up to 20 tags per password item.

  1. Navigate to the passwords list or the specific category where the password item is located, and click on the password item to which you want to add tags.
  2. Click the "Edit" tab in the Password Item Details panel, and look for the "Tags" section associated with the selected password item. This section contains an input box where you can enter the desired tags.
  3. Enter the desired tags in the provided input field. You can manually type the tags one by one, separating them with commas. If you have already created tags that you want to associate with the password item, click the "Tags" icon next to the input box. This will open a dropdown list where you can select from your existing tags.
  4. After adding the tags, click the "Update" button to save the changes and associate the tags with the password item. The added tags will now be visible in the Search panel, Categories panel and alongside the password item.

You can repeat this process for other password items to add tags accordingly. By adding tags to your password items in Intuitive Password, you can effectively categorize and organize your passwords for easier retrieval and management. Take advantage of this feature to enhance your password organization and streamline your password management workflow.
