Chapter 1: Get started
Login to your account
This topic will guide you through the process of logging into your account to access and secure your passwords, personal details, secure notes, and other important information. Please follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Go to the login page
- Open a web browser and navigate to the IntuitivePassword.com home page.
- Click on the "Login" button located in the top menu.
Enter your login credentials
- On the Login page, enter the email address associated with your Intuitive Password account.
- Click on the "Continue" button.
- You will then be prompted to enter your account password.
- Enter your password in the provided field and click on the "Continue" button.
Two-factor authentication
If you have enabled and set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Intuitive Password account, the 2FA verification process will take place. Based on your 2FA settings, choose one of the following methods to satisfy the 2FA requirement.
- Message authentication - authenticate yourself on your mobile device by entering the SMS code that has been sent to you.
- Google authentication - open your Google Authenticator app and enter the code displayed on the app into the "Verification Code" input field.
- Click on the "Verify Account" button.
Note: If you do not have access to your mobile device, you can use one of your Backup Codes instead of the verification or SMS code. A list of Backup Codes was emailed to you when you first enabled the 2FA feature. If you do not have any Backup Codes, click on the "Verify Another Way" link to verify your email address with a verification code sent to your inbox.
Security challenge
If you have not enabled 2FA for your account, Intuitive Password will check the geo-location and IP address of the device you are logging in from for additional security. If you are logging in from an unrecognized device, Intuitive Password may prompt you with a security challenge to verify your identity.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the security challenge, which may include answering your security question. If you do not remember your security answer, click on the "Verify Another Way" link to verify your email address with a verification code sent to your inbox.
- Click on the "Verify Account" button.
Note: The security challenge is an extra layer of protection to ensure that only authorized users can access your Intuitive Password account. It helps safeguard your sensitive information from unauthorized access.
Account lockout policy
It is important to note that multiple invalid password attempts or 2FA code entries can lead to temporary account lockout for security purposes. If you exceed the maximum allowed number of unsuccessful login attempts, your account will be locked out for a period of 20 minutes. Consistently exceeding the maximum number of lockouts may result in your IP address being blocked and the temporary disablement of your account.
It is recommended to ensure the accuracy of your password and 2FA code entries to prevent unnecessary lockouts and ensure uninterrupted access to your Intuitive Password account.
