Chapter 4: Security features
Configure automatic logout
Intuitive Password's Auto-Logout feature is designed to enhance your account security by automatically logging you out of your account after a period of user inactivity. This feature prevents unauthorized access to your account in case you forget to log out or if you leave your account unattended. By default, the user inactivity timeout is set to 300 minutes. However, you have the flexibility to customize this setting based on your preferences. Follow the instructions below to configure the Auto-Logout settings.
Configuring auto-logout settings
- Click "Features" on the left-hand side of your screen, then select "Auto Logout" from the dropdown list.
- Enter a number in the input box to indicate the duration of user inactivity after which your account should be automatically logged out. For example, if you enter "20", it means that your account will be automatically logged out after 20 minutes of user inactivity, then click the "Apply" button to save your changes.
With the Auto-Logout feature enabled, Intuitive Password will provide a reminder 30 seconds prior to your session expiry. At this point, you can click the "Extend Session" button to renew your session and prevent the automatic logout of your account. This allows you to continue working without interruption while maintaining the security of your account.
