Geographic access restriction

Intuitive Password provides a powerful feature called "Geographic Access Restriction" that allows you to enhance the security of your account. By enabling this feature, you can restrict access to your account based on the countries from which you can log in. This means that if you have restricted certain countries, you can still access your account, but you will be required to take an additional security challenge if your IP address originates from one of the restricted countries. This feature is particularly useful for preventing unauthorized access and protecting your sensitive information. To configure the geographic access restrictions for your account, follow these steps.

Restricting account access to specific countries

  1. Click on the "Features" panel located on the left-hand side of the screen. In the Features panel, locate and select the "Geographic Access Restriction" option from the dropdown list.
  2. To proceed, you will need to provide the security answer for verification purposes, this step ensures that only authorized users can change the settings.
  3. You will see a list of all countries in the world, each accompanied by a checkbox. Review the list and select the countries that you want to restrict access from. After selecting the desired countries, click on the "Apply" button to save your changes.

Note: If you attempt to log in to your account from an IP address that originates from one of the restricted countries, you will be prompted to take an additional security challenge.
