Manage licenses for your teams

Intuitive Password provides administrators with the ability to manage licenses and bills for their organization. This feature allows you to upgrade subscriptions for invited users by assigning licenses to them, enabling them to use Intuitive Password premium subscriptions at no additional cost. As an administrator, you will be responsible for managing the associated bills.

License types

Intuitive Password offers two types of licenses: "Retail License" and "Discounted License." Understanding the differences between these licenses is essential for effectively managing your organization's subscriptions.

Retail Licenses are licenses that can be purchased individually from Intuitive Password. These licenses incur additional charges beyond the base subscription cost. If you require more licenses than what is included in your subscription plan, you can buy retail licenses to accommodate additional users.

Discounted Licenses are licenses that are already included in specific subscription plans: Family Starter, Family Plus, Business Starter, and Business Plus. These licenses are provided to you at no additional cost beyond your subscription fee. They are considered discounted because you do not have to pay extra for them, as they are part of the subscription package.

Assigning and unassigning licenses

  1. Select the "Secure Sharing" tab at the bottom of the screen, then click on the "Licenses" tab to access the Licenses panel.
  2. In this panel, you will find all the available licenses in your account, as well as any licenses activated for users, and expired licenses are also displayed for easy renewal.
  3. To assign a license to a user, click on the "Available Licenses" option in the Licenses panel, then select an available license from the list, finally choose the user to whom you want to assign the license and click on the "Save" button to save your changes.
  4. To unassign a license from a user, click on the "Activated Licenses" option in the Licenses panel, then select the user from the dropdown list, finally choose the "Select..." option to unassign the license and click on the "Save" button to save your changes.

Please note that when you invite a new user to access your shared vaults, the invited user will be automatically assigned an available license from your account, this allows them to enjoy the premium features of Intuitive Password without any additional cost. If you don't want to assign any licenses to invited users, you have the flexibility to manually unassign licenses from the Licenses tab, this ensures that the invited users will not utilize a premium subscription and will have access to basic features only.

Managing licenses

If you need to purchase additional licenses beyond what is included in your subscription, click the "Buy Licenses" button in the Licenses panel, This will take you to the shopping page, where you can select and purchase the desired number of retail licenses for your organization. If you no longer require a license, make sure to unassign it from the user before choosing to delete it from your account.

It is important for administrators to ensure timely renewal of activated licenses to maintain uninterrupted access to premium features. If an administrator forgets to renew an activated license and it expires, the user associated with that license will be reverted to the Basic edition of Intuitive Password.
