How to create a Custom folder

One way to organize your Intuitive Password account is to organize your Password Items into custom folders, so that all of your data are available to you, but you can still find what you are looking for easily. To use this method in Intuitive Password you must create the folders you wish to use, and move your Password Items into these folders. To create a folder to contain some of your Password Items, follow the steps below.

1 First, you'll need to login to your Intuitive Password account via your web browser.

2 Click Folder View on the Categories panel.

3 Click "+" icon to create a new folder.

4 Enter a name for your new folder. If you have selected a folder, you can select where is the new folder to be created. Select Root folder if you want to create a folder in the root level, select Sub folder if you want to create a sub folder in the selected folder.

5 Click Apply to save your changes.

How to edit an existing Custom folder

1 Click Folder View on the Categories panel.

2 Select a folder you want to edit, and click the "pencil" icon.

3 Enter a new name for the selected folder, then click Apply to save your changes.

How to delete an existing Custom folder

1 Click Folder View on the Categories panel.

Click the Folder View button to switch to the Folder View mode.

2 Select a folder you want to delete, and click the "trash" icon.

3 Click Confirm to delete the folder.

Note: The actual data in the folder will not be deleted, you can still find your Password Items in the Category View after the folder has been deleted.

Move a Password Item into a folder

You can move a Password Item into a folder, or transfer a Password Item from one folder into a different folder by following the steps below.

1 Select a Password Item from your passwords list.

2 On the Edit mode of your selected Password Item, scroll down to the Move to folder section.

3 To move the Password Item to your desired folder, select the folder and click Apply to save your changes.

4 Once the Password Item has been moved to your desired folder, you'll be able to see it in your passwords list by selecting the folder.

Frequently asked questions

If I delete a custom folder, will all the Password Items in that folder be deleted?

No, deleting a custom folder will not delete any Password Item in that folder. However, the Password Items in the deleted folder will be marked as uncategorized, so you'll be able to access them on the Category View mode.

How many levels of a custom folder I can create in Intuitive Password?

There is no limitation of levels you can create in a custom folder, but the more levels of folders you create, the more difficulty for you to find passwords.

If I delete a parent folder, will all sub folders be deleted?

Yes, deleting a parent folder will result in deleting all sub folders in that folder. However, all your Password Items in these folders will not be deleted from your account, they will be marked as uncategorized and you'll be able to access them on the Category View mode.
