My credit card was declined on your payments page or my account upgrade failed. Why?

Declines can happen for a variety of reasons. When we submit a charge to your bank, they have automated systems that determine whether or not to accept the charge. These systems take various signals into account, such as your spending habits, account balance, and card information like the expiration date and CVC. Since these signals are constantly changing, a previously successful card might be declined in the future. Even if all of the card information is correct, and you previously had a successful payment, a future charge can still be declined by a bank's overzealous fraud systems.

We show as much information as we receive from your bank about a decline. Unfortunately most declines are generic, so we don't have much information as to why a charge was specifically declined. If all of the card information seems correct, it is best to contact your bank, inquire for more information, and ask for future charges to be accepted.

If payment was made via Paypal, it will only notify us of a failed payment, we never receive detailed information. Its best to search Paypal's support page for your specific payment issue, or contact them for more information.

What would happen if I have cancelled my premium account?

After you have cancelled your premium account, you will be automatically switched to the Basic edition. So you will still be able to access and maintain your data with limited features.

Is it possible to access my data after my subscription has expired?

Of course, you can access your data at any time even though your subscription has expired. Your account will become Read Only mode, you will need to renew your subscription to remove this restriction.

I just purchased Premium edition through your payments page and I am seeing an additional AUD $1 charge, what is this?

Intuitive Password uses the Stripe.com and PayPal for our payment processors. They will often attempt a small (AUD $1) authorization that is immediately reversed before a payment to make sure payment will work. Depending on the bank or credit institution, however, it can sometimes take several business days for the reversal to appear on a cardholder's statement. Stripe.com has more information on this here. PayPal has a similar post on their community here.

I have a charge on my credit card for your product, but I don't use it. How can I get my money back?

If you feel you have been a victim of credit card fraud, please contact us with any details of the transaction you have for investigation. We also suggest that you cancel the card in question and request a new account number from your bank.

I purchased Intuitive Password Premium edition with my credit card, why it is showing as "Stripe.com"?

Stripe.com is our payment provider for credit card payments. Temporary or pending charges will show as their company name, but will change to "Intuitive Password" once the charge is no longer pending.

Does Intuitive Password accept Bitcoins?

No, Bitcoin payment method is not supported.
