Steps to create, edit and delete a custom category

If the built-in categories don't meet your requirement, you can easily create your own Category with custom input fields to match your requirement. To do so, follow the steps below:

1 If you are on the ワイドスクリーンPCモード, click the カテゴリー管理 icon on the カテゴリー panel. If you are on the スマートフォンモード or タブレットモード, click the Options tab then select カテゴリー管理 option from the 私のアカウント dropdown list.

Click the "cog" icon to reveal the カテゴリー管理 settings.

2 If you want to create a custom Category, select the Create New Category option, then enter a name for your category. If you want to edit/delete an existing custom Category, select it from the dropdown list.

3 The default names for the mandatory fields are "Title" and "Notes", you can rename it if you want to.

Click the "arrow up" or "arrow down" icon to change the position of the field.

Click the "x" icon to delete the field, or click the "+" icon to add a new field.

Choose a type of field you wish to use.

4 Enter a name for your custom field, and choose a type of field you want to use. If you want to add a new field, click "+" icon. If you want to delete a field, click "x" icon. If you want to change the order of a field, click the "arrow up" icon or "arrow down" icon.

5 After you have finished your design, click Create. If you're updating an existing custom Category, click Update. You can delete an existing custom Category from your account by clicking Delete button. Note: If you delete a custom category, all your Password Items that are stored in that category will be permanently deleted from your account.

Your newly created custom カテゴリー will be appearing in the カスタマイズ category. If you are on the スマートフォンモード or タブレットモード, it will be appearing on the カテゴリー list.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I delete a custom category from my Intuitive Password account?

If you delete a custom category, all Password Items that are stored in that category will be permanently deleted from your account. However, if you rename a custom category, or adding/deleting fields from a custom category, your Password Items won't be deleted.
